The Renegade Monks are one of Portland and Vancouver's craziest and
most fun cover bands. We have been around for over 9 years now, and are
known to be just as much of the party as the people who are there
moving and grooving to the songs we play.
Will Barnes: Bass and vocals
Dwight Stroh: Lead and rhythm guitars, vocals
Kelly Duncan: Keyboards, rhythm guitar and vocals
Robby Olsen: Drums and vocals.

The
Mill Casino Hotel & RV Park will be hosting another Winemakers
Dinner on Sunday Sunday, March 28, 2010. These dinners have become
popular with locals and visitors alike because we traditionally feature
a locally owned and operated winery and pair their best wines with our
best dishes.
Our
next Wine Makers dinner will be team Richard Alvord & Patricia
Gustafson, owners of Whistling Ridge Vineyard, our the Mill Casino's
The Mill's Executive Chef, Dan Catanio. For $65 , diners can enjoy
four courses, paired four vintages, in an intimate and delightful
setting with the Winemakers and Chef.
Whistling Ridge Vineyard has
been family owned and operated since 1989 and occupies eight acres in
the northern Willamette Valley, near Newberg. What began as one block
of Chardonnay 108 clones in 1989 has grown into 15+ acres of vines
including Pinot Noir,
Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris. For "experimentation and fun", they also
grow some Riesling, Muscat, Schonburger, Gewürztraminer,
and Pinot Blanc in
small quantities
We recommend checking our their Wine Maker's Notes before the dinner to get a better idea of what your palate will be in for. All of their wines are from the Ribbon Ridge AVA.
The event begins at 4pm on Sunday, March 28. Be sure to join our
Facebook event page for information and invite your friends. For

Huck Flyn, March 3, 2010 Huck Flynn is a California comedian with a country background brought up in rural Thousand Oaks, California, an LA suburb. Huck grew up with a country & rockabilly influence of Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Creedence Clearwater Revival and others. Huck covers the musical gambit and his sense of humor reaches out to all. http://www.myspace.com/huckflyn
Rodney Genther, March 3, 2010 Rodney Genther's comedy style is much like christian rock, there is usually some crap about jesus and it usually makes christians cry. That being said, his comedy does feature jesus along with many other interesting topics that require thought and rely on precise references. Rodney believes that commercial comedy is the basis for cheap laughs and is completely against this. As for the content of Rodney's topics and references....well, let's just say that more than one person has gone home wondering exactly where Rodney will wind up in hell. http://www.myspace.com/rodneygenther
Geof Sargent, March 10, 2010 Geof Sargent always produces laughs with a no-holds-barred look inside his real life. From working on a chicken farm to selling cemetery property, this Denver native has plenty to draw on. His Comedy career has been equally diverse. He has worked as a corporate headliner for IBM as well as performing with Tommy Chong in concert [ he preferred the latter ]. The headlining act for the World Alpine Skiing Championships and opening for top musical acts in large concert venues are other examples of his wide range of appeal. http://www.myspace.com/geofsargent
Jennifer Rich, March 10, 2010 ennifer won Funniest New Female Comic in 1991 at Hilarities in Florida. She moved to Los Angeles in December of 1992 with a one hundred dollar bill and $22.00 in rolled coins. Jennifer doesn't live on the edge, she IS the edge. In LA, she produced "Comedy Girlfriends", an all female show which got great reviews in Drama-Logue.She is now a Paid Regular at The Comedy Store and has toured the North West, Nevada and Florida. Jennifer starred in the Children's Film, "The Bug Outbreak of 2004" and continued on to be a Finalist in the 2004 San Diego Comedy Festival. http://www.comedysoapbox.com/comedianstemplate.cfm?comedianID=2520
Tonya Kaye with Rick Price, March 17, 2010 Tonya Kaye has spent the last decade honing her skills not only as a comic but as an actress as well, appearing in a number of television shows and movie appearances. Originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma she’s a force to be reckoned with as she spins her down home humor behind flawless beauty and a wicked southern drawl. She holds nothing back in her fast paced and unexpurgated look within herself and the world around her. Her likeability the moment she walks onstage is obvious and you would never expect the Pandora’s box of comedy tidbits about to be unleashed on an unsuspecting audience. Fasten your seat belt its going to be a bumpy night. http://www.myspace.com/surfcomic
Rick Pulido with Rick Morris, March 24, 2010 Rick looks at life, turns it upside down like a lens on a camera and people laugh. His words are amplified with inflections, sound effects and animated body and facial contractions. Rick is one of the best at his craft and has proven it time and time again. He can be seen as a headliner in comedy clubs across the country and soon on his own television show "The Toy Maker." http://www.offkilterentertainment.com/rickpulidopage.htm
Paul Myerhaug, March 31, 2010 Described as being a 'party comic,' Myrehaug is very laid back and relaxed on stage as he jokes about everything from cougars (the human variety) to possible terrorist attacks on Toronto. He's not worried about that last one though. Apparently Al-Qaeda terrorists are morning people and he goes to bed around 7 a.m. Facebook.com
Toby Muresianu, March 31, 2010 Toby Muresianu started stand-up while studying computer science and psychology. After a few years in scientific research and software engineering, he realized those pipe dreams wouldn't pan out and fell back on a career in performance art. Onstage, he uses insight and absurdity to target topics from technology to politics to food with jokes that will stick with you long after the show. Based in San Francisco, he tours nationally and has appeared at the Boston Comedy Festival, The Bumbershoot Music Festival, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and many more.
